This collection reflects the range of initiatives that impact indigenous peoples of the Congo Basin. While the fact information is publicly shared is one indicator of organizational capacity, determination of program relevance and quality should be based on a careful and critical review of human resources, institutional orientation and experience, neutrality, independence, philosophy and approach to working with communities, and mechanisms to ensure transparency and accountability.

List of WCS Africa Projects

ROC: In addition to its environmental conservation initiatives, WCS is implementing a schools education program and environmental curriculum development. Worth checking their project list as WCS is a key conservation actor throughout the Congo Basin and works in areas where popluations of indigenous peoples are often significant.
